How this man got through COVID and didn’t learn to check the background of his video calls is beyond me.

This is sports journalist Ruben Van Gucht. Recently, he was covering the Euros from his hotel room when eagle-eyed viewers noticed something peculiar next to his crouching figure: a pair of feet. While the fact that he apparently couldn’t find a chair in his hotel room is already embarrassing enough, what makes matters worse is that a) the feet don’t belong to his wife; and b) his attempt to cover up the offending toes with a coffee cup both fails and is kind of strange to see.

In short, this guy really looks like he slipped up and revealed he was cheating on his wife in a hotel. Buddy, that’s what a blurred background is for! Use it!
