Of all the dangerous things you can encounter in life, I think “surprise massive hole” falls pretty low on people’s lists. Naturally, there’s always a chance that a sinkhole can open below you and suck you in whole, but I’d imagine that people fear that happening less than, I don’t know, accidentally committing tax fraud because you decided to fill out your TurboTax hungover.

Still, it can happen, and as this guy shows, it can be pretty jarring when it does.
