“Muscle stimulation” involves sending electrical pulses into the body to, you know, stimulate muscles. While some say this reduces pain or repairs tissue, the main effect, at least in the short term, is that your muscles tense up.

This can make it difficult to do simple things like drink a sports drink. But that isn’t stopping this guy from trying!
