Though “Silent Night” may be all about peace on Earth and a sense of ethereal calm, a group of festive toddlers decided to put their own spin on the Christmas classic, turning the song from “tender and mild” to “screaming and wild.”

On Tuesday, Michelle Weiss Trusl headed to TikTok to share a throwback clip depicting what appears to be her then two-year-old son’s Christmas recital featuring a most definitely not-silent, borderline-screamo take on the song.

“SILENT NIGHT! HOLY NIGHT!” the band of tots screamed during their now-iconic performance.

Though the young performers will definitely not be winning a Grammy for their spirited singing, they most definitely can and should start a death metal band.
