Twitch updated their terms of service this week to say they will be banning the use of words like 'simp,' 'incel,' and 'virgin' when they're used in a derogatory manner.

They had to of course clarify that people for whom those labels genuinely apply aren't banned from the platform (seeing as they make up probably the largest portion of their active user base), but it's unclear what good any of this will bring.

I didn't realize cyberbullying was really possible on Twitch. You're already disrespecting yourself by going on there, so how can someone else on Twitch even make fun of you? You're both uncool, so just chill out.

Like most things, I'm wrong about this, and a lot of people feel much more strongly about being able to simp down with their virgin homies in the cell.
