More often than not in life, we find ourselves thinking of the perfect thing to say in an awkward moment well after the moment has already occurred. The French even have their own term for it - "L'esprit de l'escalier" AKA "Staircase wit" is that lightbulb moment you have in your stairwell, long past the time you actually needed it. Still, every so often people do manage to say just the right at just the right time. It's rare, but when it happens it's so satisfying.
