It’s the end of September, so the season for horrors and nightmares is almost upon us. But if we’re all being honest, Halloween is not scary at all these days. It used to be a day when children would run around wearing scratchy potato sacks on their heads, begging for food, and messing with people. 

So in preparation for the season, re-educate yourself with what is actually scary. Forget kids in plastic costumes and boring parties where your friend dresses up like Hawk Tuah or whatever. Take in something truly unsettling and awful. 

We've got devil-worshiping pigeons, helicopter jumps, and amusement parks left to rot. As always, there are some horrible A.I. misfires, and cats once again prove they’re mischievous, harbingers of death who are not your friend.
