Here Are All the Photos We Could Find of the 'Star Wars' Cast Sitting in Trashcans
If I had a nickel for every time Carrie Fisher was photographed sitting inside a trash can, I'd have a whole quarter. Which isn't much, but it's still weird that it's happened five times!
We rightly don't associate America's princess with trash, (unless you're talking about the inside of a compactor), but apparently she had quite the affinity for receptacles.
The first known "trash" photo was taken on the set of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1976, where messing around seems like it was par for the course. The rest were taken during a promotional photoshoot for Empire Strikes Back in New York City.
A photo of Mark Hamill in a trash bin on the set of "Empire" suggests that the Star Wars cast often found themselves in trash bins. No wonder they ended up in the Death Star's compactor.
And yes, we included a couple trash photos from the movies themselves to round this out.
