We’ve had close calls. A recent post on r/AskReddit asked users “What’s something you did that seemed harmless at the time, but actually proved to be extremely dangerous?” The answers were insane and a trip down memory lane for Boomers and Gen X. 

One man nearly gassed himself in the name of cleaning. People learn not to mix bleach one way or another. A few posters had stories of being out in nature with absolutely no plan or safety. Whether it was driving in snowstorms, swimming in rough waters, or balancing a pipe on your way to school, you can guarantee no one's parents were aware of such dangerous behaviors.
