Twitter had an interesting year. It had a name change that we at this site refuse to acknowledge. Spam accounts and scammers reigned supreme after verification badges were stripped from their owners and sold for $8. But not all new things on Twitter this year were bad. The Community Notes function, which we are still shocked Elon agreed to began combatting misinformation from users, especially its CEO, Elon Musk.

Twitter in 2023 was not the same, however, it did have its moments that felt like the good old days. This app is still the best place to be whenever a major figure croaks or in Mitch McConnell’s sake, freezes. The death of Diane Feinstein and Henry Kissinger brought everyone together for a great day of shitposting.
