50 Revolutionary Pics Showing the Glorious Soviet Aesthetic

The Soviet aesthetic is a glorious one. In an attempt to distance themselves from the Western world, the Communists of Russia formulated their own unique way of life, and a design theory to go along with it. The result is a bunch of stuff that often looks more like something out of a weird, 1960s sci-fi film, and not official state buildings, technology, and art.
Their monuments go particularly hard, resembling concrete spaceships meant to zap the capitalists into oblivion. Their architecture is similarly brutalist and interesting, and the people just going about their day are overlooked by giant pictures of Lenin everywhere.
It’s cool, kind of creepy, but something we all, as comrades, can enjoy.
