Influencing isn't easy despite how it might look from the outside. 

First, you need to be active. And that means posting, all the time, even when you don't feel like it. It also means making enemies everywhere you go. Oh, you want to film a Target run? Well, now a 20-minute errand has turned into a 2-hour commercial shoot. 

Second, you lose friends and gain a larger-than-life ego which can and will come back to bite you. Everyone and everything becomes a prop. A sunset isn't just a sunset anymore, it's Golden Hour and you've got work to do. 

The birth of a child, that's content. A bad breakup? Content. Grocery store oranges? Content. So while it's easy to laugh at influencers in the wild, just be thankful that you don't have to do this thankless work.
